Lanxin Wen, was born in Chongqing, China, is an artist whose primary mediums are visual and performance art. He currently resides in London. Having left his hometown during his childhood due to family reasons and frequently moving, Lanxin developed a sense of unfamiliarity with the concept of "home." This has driven his focus on exploring the connections between individuals and between the city and its people.

Lanxin often employs various materials to showcase his artwork, aiming to evoke strong emotions and tenderness in the audience while providing a space for contemplation. He strives to establish a connection between himself and the viewers, reawakening the often imperceptible inherent connections among people.

In the process of human societal development, it seems that we have forgotten the inherent connections between individuals. Nowadays, these elusive connections can only be found in intimate relationships, leaving only faint traces. However, within these intimate relationships, personal characteristics and traits are often suppressed. Individuals inevitably face cooperation, conflicts, negotiations, compromises, and submission within intimate relationships.

Therefore, in the pursuit of these connections, Lanxin has become aware of the evident yet unspoken restraints. These restraints are superficial, yet they represent a subconscious dependency and self-protection. Lanxin seeks to go beyond the confines of intimate relationships, acknowledging the need to transcend comfort zones and confront the conflicts and disharmony between oneself and others.Through his artistic works, Lanxin aims to provoke contemplation among the audience regarding these connections. He encourages people to rediscover and cherish the bonds between one another. By utilizing visual and performance art forms, as well as various materials, he presents his exploration of the relationships between individuals. Lanxin aspires to create a unique artistic experience that evokes a sense of commonality and emotional resonance, prompting viewers to reflect upon and perceive the subtle dynamics between human beings.
