School of Communication

Introduction

Dean, School of Communication – Kerry Curtis

As Communicators are we able to encourage the consideration of future consequences?

Learning from histories, conversations with others and interactions in our environments to imagine and share possible futures. Considerations that; create a pause, an intervention, challenges a thought, or that inspire.

The necessity for communicating new narratives across multiple platforms could not be more relevant today. Our graduating students have created compelling works to inform, question and challenge us.

We are immensely proud of the student achievements in the School of Communication. Within their creative practices they contribute to social, environmental, and cultural concerns in uncertain times, responding through animations, publications, XR experiences, moving image, immersive audio, illustrations, graphic design, events and installations.

We hope you enjoy RCA2023 and the considerations that follow.
